This Privacy Policy describes how Daqeeq ("Daqeeq", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at daqeeqgroup.com (the "Site"), the Daqeeq mobile application (the "App"), and the Daqeeq Business web dashboard ("Daqeeq Business") — together, the "Services". Daqeeq is based in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide to us

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
• Business information — business name, locations, menus, photos, opening hours, and other profile content when you register a business on Daqeeq Business.
• Content — reviews, ratings, saved places, preferences, and messages you submit through the Services.
• Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support or inquiries.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage data — interactions with the Services such as searches, profile views, menu views, taps on calls, directions, and delivery links, saves, and similar in-app events. We use this to operate the Services and to produce aggregated analytics for businesses.
• Device information — device type, operating system, app version, language, and unique device identifiers.
• Location data — approximate or precise location, only with your permission, used to show nearby places, directions, and relevant results. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
• Log data — IP address, access times, and pages or screens viewed.

1.3 Voice queries (Sabi AI)

When you use Sabi, our voice assistant, your voice input is processed to understand your request and return results. Voice queries may be converted to text and processed by our AI service providers solely to fulfill your request and improve the quality of responses. We do not use voice recordings for advertising.

1.4 Connected third-party platforms (Daqeeq Business)

Business users may choose to connect third-party accounts — such as Instagram, TikTok, Google Business Profile, or other platforms — to Daqeeq Business. When you connect an account, you authorize us via the platform's official authorization flow (for example, OAuth) to access certain data on your behalf, such as follower counts, post impressions, engagement metrics, audience demographics, reviews, and similar insights, strictly within the scopes you grant.

• We access this data only to display and analyze it for you inside your own dashboard.
• We do not sell connected-platform data or share it with other businesses.
• You can disconnect a platform at any time from your dashboard settings or by revoking access in the third-party platform's settings. Upon disconnection, we stop syncing new data and delete the synced data associated with that connection upon request.
• Our use of data received from each platform complies with that platform's terms, including the Meta Platform Terms, TikTok Developer Terms, and Google API Services User Data Policy (including the Limited Use requirements).

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
• Show you relevant places, search results, and recommendations based on your location, preferences, and context (such as time of day or season).
• Provide businesses with aggregated and anonymized analytics about how customers discover and interact with them.
• Power AI features, including Sabi and the Daqeeq Business insights chat.
• Process subscriptions and payments.
• Communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
• Monitor, protect, and improve the Services, including detecting fraud and abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Analytics shown to businesses are aggregated and anonymized — businesses do not see the identity of individual consumers.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With service providers — hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, payment processing, and AI processing providers who work on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• With your direction — for example, when you tap a delivery link, call a restaurant, or open directions in a maps app.
• For legal reasons — when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Daqeeq, our users, or the public.
• In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained longer.

5. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:

• Email us at info@daqeeqgroup.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account; or
• Use the account deletion option inside the App or dashboard settings, where available.

We will verify your request and delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Data synced from connected third-party platforms is deleted when you disconnect the platform or upon your deletion request.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example, location access).

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Transfers

We may process and store information on servers located outside of Kuwait, including through cloud providers in other countries. We take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, apps, and services (such as delivery platforms or maps). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
